Ramakrishna Math is organizing Swara-Laya-Sandhya special Classical Music Programme in association with Chirantana Charitable Trust, Surathkal & Sapthak, Bengaluru on Sunday, the 29th January 2017 from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm.

Mangalore Ramakrishna Math is observing 155th Birthday Celebration of Swami Vivekananda in the Ashrama on 19th January 2017 according to the programme given below. All are invited to attend the programme.
Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru took up 400 cleanliness drives in its 3rd phase of Swacch Mangaluru for Swacch Bharath Abhiyan initiated on 2nd October 2016.
It gladdens our heart to share that thanks to the active support & involvement of our volunteers, friends and well-wishers, we have successfully completed 100 drives and are surging ahead with redoubled zeal and vigor. The number of groups volunteering to take up the drive in their respective areas are cropping up day after day and number of volunteers in each group is swelling indicating how the Abhiyan is striking the right chord with the public. We also wish to thank MRPL & Nitte Group of Institutions for their continued support in our endeavours in serving the society.
On this occasion of completion of 100 successful drives, to pledge their commitment towards cleanliness, all 50 teams will be carrying out cleanliness drives in different parts of Mangaluru on Sunday, the 18th December 2016 at 7 am. Details are given overleaf.
This will be followed by a stage programme in our Ashrama for all the volunteers of Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan to take stock of the past 100 drives and to plan our strategy for future programmes.

The 164th Birthday ofHoly Mother Sri Sri Sharadadevi, the Divine Consort of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna will be celebrated in our Ashrama on Tuesday, the 20th December 2016 as per the programme given below. We shall be glad to have the pleasure of your company on the occasion.
Mangalore Ramakrishna Math is organizing Bhavasangama – Bhakta Samagama – Devotees’ convention for 3 days from 4th to 6th November. Devotees from all over Karnataka are participating in the programme. The programme consists of lectures, bhajans, guided meditation session and cultural programmes. Ramakrishna Math, Mangalore is organizing Bhavasangama – Devotees Convention from 4th to 6th November 2016.
We invite all the interested devotees to participate in the three days’ event. Accommodation will be provided for 3 days for devotees coming from outside for a nominal charge. All the sessions will be in Kannada. Details of the convention are given below. Interested devotees have to register their names at the Ashrama office beforehand.
Ramakrishna Math, Mangalore in association with Chirantana Charitable Trust, Surathkal has organized full-day music fest in Swami Vivekananda Auditorium on Sunday, the 16th October 2016. Programme commences at 6.30 am. Details of the programme are given below. We invite all the interested to take part in this programme.
“It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness”, says an age old adage. Ramakrishna Mission at Mangalore took up the task of cleaning the city of Mangalore instead of blaming and cursing the filth and squalor that makes us turn our heads down in shame. We thank all the enlightened citizens who lent us helping hands and were instrumental in bringing about a change for the better.
After successfully completing 40 weeks of Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan in 2 phases in 2015-16 with the support of awakened citizens, our Ashrama is resuming the Abhiyan by initiating the 3rd phase from 2nd October 2016. This will comprise of about 40 groups in different parts of Mangalore, each comprising more than 50 members, carrying on the cleanliness drive on one Sunday every month for 10 consecutive months.
Launching of the 3rd phase of the Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan and felicitation of 75 Poura Karmikas who have strived to keep out city clean all along will be held in our Ashrama on the 2nd October. This will be followed by a Seminar on Swacch Manas for Swacch Bharath to highlight the importance of a shift in the mental attitude to ensure of success of this Abhiyan. Details of the programme are given in the following pages.
