Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru is organizing Shraddha – Educational Symposium for Post Graduate Students at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium on Wednesday, the 9th September 2026. The symposium is being organized to commemorate the historic address delivered by Swami Vivekananda at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893. The central theme of this year’s symposium is “Educate, Empower, Elevate: Building Lives of Character and Service.”

The Shraddha symposium on September 9 will be inaugurated at 9:30 a.m. by Sri Govind Babu Poojary, (Founder and Chairman of Cheftalk Food & Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd), Prof. P. L. Dharma, (Vice-Chancellor of Mangalore University) will be the Chief Guest, while Dr. A. Srinivasa Rao, (Chancellor of Srinivas University) will be the Special Invitee. Following the inaugural ceremony, Swami Yukteshanandaji of Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, and Dr. Raghavendra Holla N., (Chairman of Swasthika National Business School (SNBS), Mangaluru) will address the participants. A panel discussion on “Beyond Paycheck: What Makes Work Meaningful?” will feature Dr. Rameela Shekhar, (Director, Mental Health Professional, Manashanthi, Mangaluru;) Mr. Praveen Udupa, (Founder and Technical Director, AI Logics, Mangaluru;) and Ms. Krithika Saralaya, (Head of HR, Invenger Technologies, Mangaluru).
