Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru is organizing Prajna – Educational Symposium for Students of Professional Courses at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium on Friday,11th September 2026. The symposium is being organized to commemorate the historic address delivered by Swami Vivekananda at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893. The central theme of this year’s symposium is “Educate, Empower, Elevate: Building Lives of Character and Service.”

The Prajna symposium on September 11 will be inaugurated by Dr. K. Prakash Shetty, (Chairman and Managing Director of MRG Group, Mangaluru.) Sri D. Vedavyas Kamath, (MLA, Mangaluru South,) will be the Chief Guest, while Sri. Vishal Hegde, (Chancellor of Nitte (Deemed to be University), will be the Special Invitee. Swami Yukteshanandaji of Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysore and Sri Gurudatta Shenoy, (Managing Partner, Mukund Realty & Vertex Managed) will serve as resource persons. The day will also feature a panel discussion on “Beyond Degrees: Skills, Mindset and Social Impact for a Meaningful Career,” with Dr. Ronald Sequeira, (Executive Director, Indian Institute of Skill Development and Research, Mangaluru;) Dr. K. T. Shwetha, (Clinical Psychologist, Mangaluru;) and Sri Deepak Raj, (Manager – Risk Investigations, Amazon Development Centre, Bengaluru,) as the panelists.
