Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru is organizing Medha – Educational Symposium for Teachers & Aspiring Teachers at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium on Thursday, the 10th September 2026. The symposium is being organized to commemorate the historic address delivered by Swami Vivekananda at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893. The central theme of this year’s symposium is “Educate, Empower, Elevate: Building Lives of Character and Service.”

The Medha symposium on September 10 will be inaugurated by Dr. H. S. Shetty, (Chairman and Managing Director of Mysuru Mercantile Company Ltd., Bengaluru.) Sri Prashanth Poduval, (Chief General Manager, MRPL ONGC, Mangaluru,) will be the Chief Guest, while Sri Vijayanarayana K. M., (Secretary of Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Puttur,) will be the Special Invitee. Swami Yukteshanandaji of Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru and Sri. Damodar Sharma, (Motivational Speaker, Udupi) will be the resource persons for the sessions. A panel discussion on “Teaching with Purpose: Beyond the Classroom” will be conducted by Dr. Virupaksha Devaramane, (Senior Psychiatrist, Udupi;) Dr. Kumara Swamy H., (Educationist, Mangaluru;) and Mrs. Soujanya Hegde, (HR Trainer, Mangaluru.)
