Amrita Bhavana is a three-storey multipurpose building with a basement, constructed by Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru. The building is equipped with facilities to support value-based education, training programmes, yoga, music, and various educational and cultural activities. It also provides a conducive environment for the holistic development of students and the community.

The foundation stone of Amrita Bhavana was laid on 4 June 2022 by Srimat Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, then Vice-President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, Howrah, West Bengal. The ceremony was held as part of the Amrita Mahotsava celebrations of Ramakrishna Math, Mangaluru.

The building was inaugurated on 14 September 2025 by Srimat Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. The inauguration took place in the divine presence of Swami Muktidanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha of Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, and Trustee of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. The occasion also formed part of the Amrita Mahotsava celebrations of Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru.

Facilities and Activities

Amrita Bhavana comprises a basement, an elevated ground floor, a first floor, and a covered terrace, each designed to accommodate different activities and requirements.

Basement: The basement provides parking facilities and accommodation for two drivers.

Elevated Ground Floor: This floor houses a Sabha Bhavan, which serves as a venue for value education classes, yoga sessions, training programmes, and various educational and cultural activities. It also provides a space for organising Hindustani and Carnatic classical music programmes, promoting India's rich musical heritage and offering opportunities for cultural enrichment.

First Floor: The first floor houses the Vivekananda Coaching Centre, which comprises eight classrooms, a staff room, and an office-cum-store room. The centre provides facilities for academic coaching and educational programmes aimed at improving students' academic performance, personality development, and overall growth.

Covered Terrace: The covered terrace can be utilised for training programmes, yoga sessions, and other educational and group activities whenever required.

Amrita Bhavana stands as a dedicated centre for education, value-based learning, yoga, training, music, and cultural enrichment. By bringing together academic support, character-building activities, physical well-being, and the promotion of classical music, the building serves as a purposeful space for the all-round development of students and the wider community.
