Swami Jitakamanandaji is the new head of Mangalore Ashram

Srimath Swami Jitakamanandaji is a senior monk of Sri Ramakrishna Mission. Having been inspired by the life and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Vivekananda, and other saints, he joined the Order in the year 1973.

In the beginning years of his monastic life he served the Mission at Thrissur and Kalady in Kerala.

Later, after his ordination in to Sannyas, he served for 18 years, as in-charge of Ramakrishna Mission Balakashrama (Students’ home) at Mangalore, where he helped many rural poor students to get higher education.

Prior to taking charge of mangalore centre he was serving as the Director (Correspondent), Ramakrishna Institute of Moral and spiritual Education, Yadavagiri, Mysore, which trains the in-service and pre-service teachers in Value Education. He has given a number of talks on value education and personality development in different educational institutions throughout India.
He has conducted many value orientation programs to rural teachers, rural students, J.N.V. Principals, Officials, K.M.F staffs executives, directors, Parle group, Vikrant tyres, Mahajana students every year for 9 yeras in RIMSE. He has lot of experience in the field of education.
He is a powerful orator and a prolific writer in both Kannada and English.
